Someone asked me when I arrived “Which do you prefer, dust or mud” ? So far the answer is Dust for traveling and Mud for filming.
Blog’s a bit non linear, more images to follow as power and web access allow.
If you see this it is a result of many hours in various places seeing the dialogue “network error occurred”

Pottering down to the quayside we found the rest of the Bridges festival over in Baltic Square.
The new Brazilian visitor was ighly entertained by the restaurant hosted by “Hannah Glass” and “Cuthbert Collingwood” not to mention the admiral’s small dog Bounce whose sad demise .......
Lots of delicious tastes of grub sourced from upriver and downriver. Including some Tyne water apparently fished straight from the river, to the apprehensive delight of some smallbodies, who were relieved to find that it tasted just like ginger beer !.
The lovely Bill Scott donated honey from Wallsend to be used in a dipping sauce for thai fishcakes.

I’ve got students from International House language school staying with me, and yesterday was departure for one Brazilian and arrival for another.
A visit to the rail station was quickly followed by an airport trip, and then another airport trip!
En route from the 2nd airport trip I stumbled on the Kite festival at Whitley Bay. Those who laugh at my permanently keeping a kite and my car at all times can now wipe the grin. I was ready !
Saturday night was fireworks on the river, nice fizzy floaty things, and flames....we like fire!

OK, so it happened a couple of months ago...
I’d had a flood in my kitchen, and the paint peeled itself off in the above shape.
The King is about to raid my fridge! Lock up the peanut butter and bananas! Quick paint job done, and now Elvis has gone.........
I real life I am learning the new FCP X software, catching up on social life and swimming in the sea a lot ...and yes I heard about the Portbeagle shark off South Shields. I am not gonna be it’s dinner!
YAY we did it !
The venue is really handy for out of towners, and it’s got good facilities for what we need.
The plan is to do more meets with short tutorial sessions on a range of post topics, and lots of invited people to speak on and demo manny post techniques/plugins/peripherals/marketing etc.
For starters I had a look at some neighbours in Pink Lane http://www.beatsuite.com/, and they look quite friendly, and easy on the ear too! Keep an eye out for future listings.
